Protests erupt outside Kasba Police station as 3 arrested in alleged Kolkata college gang rape
Trinamool Congress (TMC) MP Mahua Moitra faced strong flak in Parliament on Tuesday for using an offensive word on the floor of the House. On Wednesday, she responded on Twitter to a TMC supporter who thanked her for “challenging” people in Parliament, saying, “Deeply satisfying. Jaake boley tripti.” The TMC MP's shouting was recorded on a microphone while she was speaking during TDP leader K Ram Mohan Naidu's speech in the Lok Sabha.
Following the incident, BJP leaders attacked Mahua Moitra and demanded an apology from her. Senior BJP leader and Union Parliamentary Affairs Minister Pralhad Joshi said, "I would ask them to apologise, but if they don't, that's their culture."
However, the TMC leader stood her ground and slammed the 'patriarchal' comments against her. Slamming the BJP, she said: "BJP is saying how can I use a word like that being a woman, I have to be a man to give it back as good as it can? So there is patriarchy."
Meanwhile, when Mahua Moitra was talking about the Adani issue, during the 'Thanksgiving for the President's Address', the famous person whose name starts with 'A' and ends with 'I' has deceived everyone. It also called for an investigation into the activities of the Adani Group and the allegations made by Hindenburg Research.
